“I believe therapy is most helpful when the client feels empowered. I’m drawn to practicing Cognitive Behavior Therapy due to its goal-oriented focus and the practical tools and skills it offers to help cause positive changes in my clients’ lives. In the context of a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship, I help clients explore their strengths as well as maladaptive behaviors and thoughts. I respectfully challenge clients to modify those ineffectual beliefs and actions in pursuit of meeting their goals. As a clinician, I am compassionate and find great joy in watching my clients’ grow and gain relief from unnecessary pain and struggles.”
